Fred O. Godbee
Fred joined EKG in 2015, and under his leadership, EKG’s services have expanded from Northeast Georgia to include operations in multiple states. EKG now employs over 400 people and has quadrupled its operations. Before Fred’s service at EKG, he had a thirteen-year career with Morgan Stanley & Co. During his tenure, Fred was responsible for sales, trading, and account management of the Southeastern region of the United States.
From 1991-2014, Fred served in the United States Navy. He served as a surface warfare officer on board the USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) from 1991 through 1994. From 1994-2002, Fred served as a member of its SEAL Teams. During his military service, he served in three different SEAL Commands. He conducted special operations globally with deployments in Europe and Asia. Fred is a co-founder and former Director of the Navy SEAL Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support to the entire Naval Special Warfare community.
Fred graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and received his Master’s in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Gordon Hamm
Gordon joined EKG in 2020 after serving with two other national security companies as a site supervisor, trainer, dispatcher, and area supervisor. Before his private security experience, Gordon served twelve years as a member of the US Army in roles varied from unmanned aerial systems and video analyst supporting a national mission organization and as a heavy equipment operator. He also has his Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma Management. Gordon has a Master’s and Bachelors of Science in Space Policy.
Cindi R. Draughn
Cindi joined EKG Security, Inc. in 2015 and has over 35 years of experience in accounting and finance. Cindi is responsible for the financial and administrative operations of the company and oversees all financial and administrative processes, including payroll, budgets, financial statement preparation, and human resources. Before joining EKG, Cindi was the Chief Financial Officer for both the Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches and the Gold Coast Builders Association. Cindi was also a Senior Accountant for two national trade associations based in Washington, D.C. Cindi graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
